Simatai Great Wall is located in Gubeikou Town in the northeast of Miyun District, Beijing. It starts from Wangjing Tower in the east and Houchuankou in the west. It has a total length of 5.4 kilometers and 35 enemy towers.

Simatai Great Wall is located in Gubeikou Town in the northeast of Miyun District, Beijing. It starts from Wangjing Tower in the east and Houchuankou in the west. It has a total length of 5.4 kilometers and 35 enemy towers. The difference is that there are not only the “city wall type” commonly seen by people, and the “half wall type” built to adapt to the cliffs and mountains; there are horse paths that stretch with gentle slopes, and “ladders” stacked on steep slopes with large steps. It has the five characteristics of "dangerous, dense, odd, ingenious, and complete". At the peak of the Great Wall in the east section, there are two most prominent enemy towers, namely the Fairy Building and the Wangjing Building. In particular, Wangjing Tower is built on the top of a steep peak with an altitude of one thousand meters. The Simatai Great Wall was included in the World Heritage List in 1987 and is a national key cultural relic protection unit. It is the only ancient architectural site in my country that retains the original appearance of the Ming Dynasty.

Day 1:

Arrive at the airport or railway station and go to the hotel on your own arrangement.

The hotel’s check-in time is 2:00pm onward, but the hotel sometimes changes the time according to its own room status. If you cannot check in, you can store your luggage and check-in again later.

Day 2: (9:00am - 5:00pm) Gubei Water Town - Simatai Great Wall (Breakfast/Lunch)

Breakfast in hotel.

After breakfast, proceed to visit Gubei Water Town at the foot of Simatai Great Wall.

[Gubei Water Town] Relying on the historical and cultural heritage of the Simatai Great Wall, the 9-square-kilometer resort area is planned as a "six districts and three valleys", integrating sightseeing, leisure, and vacation, business exhibitions, creative culture, and other tourism formats. The resort area has 430,000 square meters of Qingming and Minguo style mountain courtyard buildings, including 4 themed hotels, 10 boutique hotels, 28 homestays, more than 30 independent restaurants, more than 50 shops, and more than 10 Cultural exhibition areas.

After lunch, continue to visit Simatai Great Wall.*including upper and lower cable cars

[Simatai Great Wall] Located in the north of Simatai Village, Gubeikou Town, north of Miyun District, northeast of Beijing, it is adjacent to Gubei Water Town and 120 kilometers away from Beijing. It belongs to the Yanshan Mountains. The five characteristics of, dense, uniform, ingenious, and all are well-known in the world. The Simatai Great Wall starts from Wangjing Tower in the east and ends at Houchuankou in the west, with a total length of 5.7 kilometers. The Yuanyang Lake Reservoir divides the Great Wall into two sections. There are 16 enemy buildings in the east section and 19 enemy buildings in the west section, a total of 35 (including one destroyed in the water). In 1987, the Simatai Great Wall was included in the World Heritage List. It is the only ancient architectural site in my country that retains the original appearance of the Ming Dynasty. It was designated as the "Original Great Wall" by UNESCO. The famous Chinese ancient architect Luo Zhewen once commented that "The Great Wall of China is the best in the world, and the Simatai Great Wall is even the best of the Great Wall of China."In 2012, the Simatai Great Wall was named "the top 25 scenic spots in the world not to be missed" by the British newspaper.

Transfer to Beijing by coach.

Transfer back to hotel.

Dinner at own arrangement.

Please check out before 12:00noon. If you are late checkout, please pay the additional fee at the front desk of the hotel.

The foregoing limitations of liability shall apply whether the alleged liability is based on contract, negligence, tort, strict liability or any other basis, even if the company or its affiliates or representatives have been advised of or should have known of the possibility of such losses and damages, and without regard to the success or effectiveness of other remedies.

Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for damages of any kind arising out of any failure or delay by us in performing any or all of our obligations contained herein or in respect of any product or service if the failure or delay is due to circumstances or cause beyond our reasonable control.

Cancellation Policy
In the event of a confirmed booking being cancelled, a cancellation charge will be levied. To cancel your reservation, you must send us an e-mail and indicating your Member ID, Travel Date, Booking ID and Product Name. The cancellation is valid when you received our acknowledgement via email.

- Cancellation 46 days before the travel date, cancellation charge at USD50
- Cancellation in-between 45 days to 30 days before the travel date, cancellation charge at USD100
- Cancellation less than 30 days before the travel date, 100% cancellation charge applies.

This cancellation policy is subject to rules and regulations applicable jurisdictions in which our travel supplier is based. In the event of conflict between the cancellation policy displayed here and cancellation terms in supplier booking terms, the more restrictive of the two terms will prevail.
 
Name Change Policies 
Name changes are generally not allowed on trips to avoid fraud, gaming and profiteering. We want to ensure that most of our travelers are members. If you wish to have a name change, please contact our customer service team for further assistance.

* Remark: We reserve the right to refuse a name change at our sole discretion. If allowed, name changes must be done 30 days or more before the start date of your trip and are subject to a fee up to USD50. Name changes within 30 days of the start date of your trip are not allowed.

Refund Policy
Refunds may be made by us in the following circumstances:
- the product or service fully paid for is not available and our suggested alternative is not acceptable to you; or
- you cancel your booking within the time stipulated in our travel voucher where refunds are available ( the “Cancellation Period”)

* Remark: We are not responsible for the exchange rate difference loss in the refund process.

Important Notes
Hotel/resort credits and/or discounts cannot be converted to cash, and any not used during your stay will expire immediately upon your departure. Member is responsible for paying any taxes that may be added to items purchased with hotel/resort credit.

Each individual, including each child, who is coming along with you on your trip is required to have a booking prior to the commencement of the trip. If you do not book or pay for each such person in advance of the trip, you will be charged the hotel's current rate, not the trip price, for each such person at the time of your check-in.
